Sale Days at Glarner Farms
Florida Show Pigs will be offered for sale throughout the week by appointment. On Friday's from 4 pm until finished. On Saturdays from 7:00am until 12:00pm. Saturday afternoon and Sundays show pigs are available by appointment only. Sign in when you arrive, first come first serve.
How things work on Sale Days:
I do not hold an auction type sale, The show pigs are marked with color stripes on their backs and each color represents the dollar amount of the show pig.
Green color = $275.00
Blue color = $300.00
Orange color = $325.00
Pink color = $350.00
Purple color = $400.00
I encourage all my customers to call me so that I will know when you will arrive to select your show pig. Some dates and times are busier than others, so to make things easier to keep up with this year I will have you sign in when you arrive. If you have a group that you would like for me to teach a mini selection and feeding clinic, mid morning appointments would be best for that. I will have an awesome selection of showpigs for you to choose from this year, take a minute and look at the Sires page.
Our first group of Florida show pigs will be ready to go on Friday, September 1st. This first group of show pigs will be suitable for the early shows such as the South Florida Fair in West Palm Beach, Manatee County Fair and Desoto County Fair. These Fairs are in January. The next group of show pigs are for the middle fairs which are in February will be ready to go in September through October. The last group of show pigs will be for the late fairs which are in March and April and will be ready late October through December.
The show pigs are graded, evaluated and priced according to each show pig’s quality. I would like for you to call to reserve your show pig and make your date and time to choose your project.
